Austria has not yet abolished entry restrictions and still requires 3-G proof.
Nine countries in the European Union or the European Economic Area have wholly abolished their COVID-19 measures for entry. Others decided to introduce less strict rules or relax the restrictions only for specific categories of travelers. This is pointed out by the online portal “schengenvisainfo news.“
The following states have lifted the measures for all travelers regardless of their country of origin:
Denmark
Hungary
Iceland
Ireland
Norway
Poland
Romania
Slovenia
Sweden.
Three other countries are lifting entry restrictions for people from the Schengen area:
Czech Republic
Latvia
Netherlands
Another list of countries has relaxed their entry requirements to varying degrees. These include Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, and Switzerland. Proof of vaccination, recovery, or a negative corona test is still required in many places.
